Season 6 Wrap-Up

NewVision OldWays | With Tony Marinaccio

Hello Visioneers,

As Season 6 of NewVision OldWays comes to a close, I wanted to pause and reflect with you.

This season wasn’t just about the craziness of modern life, It was about clarity.

Together, we explored ancient wisdom and modern life through a serious lens — asking harder questions, challenging assumptions, and refusing to settle for shallow answers in a very selfish and self-righteous world. From Ancient Greece and the birth of the questioning mind, to courage, discipline, deliberate living, Tactical Action Plans, and becoming a positive disrupter — Season 6 was about one thing above all else:

How we live matters.

Not what we say we value —
but what we practice.

What Season 6 Was Really About

Season 6 asked listeners to slow down and look inward before pointing outward.

We talked about:

  • Why comfort without purpose leads to emptiness
  • How avoidance quietly shapes identity
  • Why challenge is not optional — only chosen or ignored
  • The role of discipline, courage, and responsibility in a meaningful life
  • How deliberate action reveals who we are becoming
  • And why real change always starts with the individual

This season wasn’t designed to make anyone feel comfortable.
It was designed to make us honest.

If even one episode caused you to pause, reflect, or act differently — then this season did its job.

“A New Way to Support NewVision OldWays”

Many of you have asked how you can support the show beyond listening and sharing — and I’m happy to finally say that NewVision OldWays now has an official Patreon page.

You can support the podcast here:
👉 patreon.com/newvisionoldways

Supporting the show helps me:

  • Keep the podcast independent
  • Invest more time into research, writing, and production
  • Expand into companion content, worksheets, and deeper discussions
  • Continue building a community grounded in thought, courage, and clarity

There’s no obligation — listening has always been, and will always be, the heart of this podcast. But if the show has brought value to your life and you’d like to help it grow, Patreon is now the place to do that. FYI – You can now make a Lump Sum Donation and then cancel so as to not get charged monthly. Always good to have options – and that was one that was asked for.

Your support — in any form — genuinely matters.

Looking Ahead to Season 7

Season 7 will continue pushing forward — but with even more focus on:

  • Application over abstraction
  • Living deliberately in an age of distraction
  • Personal sovereignty in life, work, and relationships
  • Courage, clarity, and constructive disruption

The goal remains the same:
Ancient wisdom. Modern clarity. Real life application.

**A Visioneer – Kitchen Break 🍽️

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley or lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, oregano, thyme, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken evenly with the garlic herb mixture.
  4. Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

Simple. Clean. Flavorful.
Just like good living should be.

Final Thought

Thank you for listening, thinking, questioning, and walking this path with me through Season 6.

We live in a world that rewards comfort and conformity —
but meaning is built by those willing to challenge themselves and live deliberately.

Season 7 is coming soon.

Until then —
stay grounded, stay curious,
and never underestimate the power of one intentional step forward.

With gratitude,
Tony
