I am proud to say that the Buffalo, NY area is my home. It can be Gritty But Honest, It can be Exhilarating and Exhausting at the same time, but it’s what I call home – and I am grateful for every second I have lived in a wonderful community. A place where toughness is the default, and community is baked into everything we do.
Now, move 900 miles south—to a suburb of Atlanta – Brookhaven, Georgia. Mild air, leaves rustling, kids running in the street in costumes. And there I was, standing outside on Halloween—handing out candy to the most polite, happy kids I’d seen in a long time. And in that moment—a thought seared deeply into me:
Maybe we’ve forgotten to live in the world that exists…
because we’re too busy dreading the world we’re told to fear
Buffalo & Brookhaven: Different Places, Same Beating Heart
Buffalo is known as a blue collar city. Hard working people, city of good neighbors, endless amazing places to eat, play and live a great life.
Now, Brookhaven is beautiful in a different way. Not from surviving the cold—but from living in the warmth of something I’d forgotten: grateful innocence. I was there visiting friends and helping hand out candy to the neighborhood.
As kids in princess dresses and Spider-Man suits lined up for candy, I saw it. True, honest politeness. Real eye contact.
Delight in something as simple as receiving a little sweetness from a stranger. Black, white, Asian, Indian, Latino and more all were there. Not a single divisive word spoken.
No fear.
No anger.
Just people being people.
Not red. Not blue. Not angry. Not afraid.
Who’s writing that story?
Who’s putting that on the news?
Agenda Media: The New Civil War Cannon
But turn on the TV—or open your phone—and you’re in a different world:
Violence. Division. Rage. America in chaos! Democracy under attack! Be afraid of your neighbor. Your president is a Nazi, a Fascist.
Prepare for November 5th—violence is coming.
But then you take a walk in Buffalo.
You hand out candy in Brookhaven.
And it hits you:
The media is not showing America.
It’s shaping America—into something it profits from.
Whether it’s PAID protests, STAGED disruptions, or influencers pushing narratives they don’t even understand—there’s a war happening.
But it’s not left vs right. It’s manipulation vs awareness.
We’re watching a Civil War of minds—not muskets. But the casualties are just as real.
What’s Real: Not the Fear, But the Faces
Would paid protestors convince Buffalo parents to turn on each other in a grocery store?
Would agenda media stop a kid in Georgia from saying “Thank you, sir” for a lollipop?
What’s real isn’t what’s viral.
What’s real is what’s lived.
My question to you—is this:
Are we letting people who don’t know us, don’t love us, and don’t live near us decide how we feel about each other?
If you unplug the noise… what do you see?
In Buffalo?
Resilience.
Neighborliness.
A quiet kind of love.
In Georgia?
Warmth.
Politeness.
Hope carried in little hands.
The Choice: Are We Being Led to War or Being Called to Wake Up?
Some people talk as if violence is inevitable.
As if November 5th will explode into chaos.
As if someone yelling in a suit on a news channel knows what’s going to happen to your family.
A big part of this, and it should be common knowledge at this point is – the professional protester. If “They” ( George Soros and the like ) need to pay people to protest, garner manufactured outrage and portray it as – This is how AMERICA feels, then why do we need so many paid protesters to make this happen. Could it be that AMERICA doesn’t really feel this way. That the manufactured outrage – isn’t doing it’s job? Most people I know, most people I come into contact with overcome this by:
Choosing presence over panic.
Choosing connection over screen-fed conflict.
Choosing truth over trend.
We’re still the ones in the street.
We’re still the ones handing out candy.
We’re still the ones choosing what kind of world our kids grow up in.
George Soros, Antifa, BLM & the media wants us divided.
But in reality—when we step outside—it begs us to remember we are still one nation, indivisible. Ask any Antifa member if they have supported a family while looking a check book wondering how they can pay the bills, ask a pasty white girl with purple hair and pimples why she has a brick in her pack back and where she got from, Ask BLM how many black families they have helped. Actually, don’t bother – we already know the answers.
Newvision Oldways: The Rebellion Is Simple
You know what the real revolution is?
Not riots. Not rage.
It’s reclaiming your peace of mind.
It’s knowing your neighbor by name.
It’s saying “no” to fear and “yes” to what’s real.
It’s standing in the snow and asking, “Need help?”
It’s handing a Reese’s cup to a smiling child and knowing they represent the future—not the collapse of a Nation.
Here’s the Old Way:
Community. Presence. Love.
Here’s the New Vision:
We don’t have to be programmed.
We don’t have to be led into hatred.
We don’t have to lose what’s human to please a headline.
We can—for the first time in a long time—take control BACK!!!!!
What World Will You Believe In?
So here’s the question:
Will you believe the world they’re selling you… or the world you still live in?
The world where Buffalo digs out together.
The world where Georgia kids say “thank you” by instinct.
The world where peace is still possible—if we stop feeding the fire they keep trying to light.
Newvision Oldways is a Podcast dedicated to seeing the world as it is – not as we are told it is.
Let’s get back to what matters.
Let’s return to the real.
Let’s reclaim this country—
not by force, but by remembering who we are.
The snow has lessons.
The sun has lessons.
and what is the lesson shared by both? That we are in control of how we see the world. The snow doesn’t mean it’s a terrible day and the sun can also shine on a bad day. See yourself, see the world as it really is, not by what we are being told it is.
Your Mind is your own – no one else’s – Don’t let paid dude’s in black coverings with cowardly masks on scare you into believing their false ideology, I choose to think for myself – I choose to see the world as it really is. So – what do you choose?
